One Episode Left… and We’re Nervous
With only one episode remaining, Girl Rules now faces a challenge many Thai GLs know all too well: landing an emotionally heavy story without rushing the ending.
And honestly? We’re not convinced there’s enough runway left.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing — especially if the show chooses realism over tidy resolutions. Not everyone getting a happy ending? We’d actually respect that.
Quick Take
This episode flew by.
We genuinely did not realize we were already at the second-to-last episode until the credits rolled — which says something about the pacing. But what stood out most wasn’t speed. It was emotional weight.
Episode 11 leaned hard into deeply human struggles: trauma, communication breakdowns, friendship fractures, family pressure and identity. Regardless of sexuality or gender identity, these are real-world issues many viewers will recognize.
And that, to us, is where Girl Rules continues to shine. It feels grounded. Messy. Sometimes painfully relatable.
THE MOMENT
Bambi Walking Away From Prim
Bambi breaking up with Prim was the emotional centerpiece of the episode.
It hurt to watch — largely because neither of them feels malicious.
Bambi is clearly struggling in ways that go beyond relationship problems, and the show deserves credit for portraying that emotional burden with nuance. Love can support healing, but it cannot replace it. Right now, Bambi feels like someone trying to survive while quietly unraveling.
And here’s where our frustration kicked in: Prim still doesn’t fully understand what Bambi is carrying.
Unless we missed something, Bambi has not fully opened up about her mental health struggles or therapy. That matters. Relationships cannot thrive on assumptions. Communication, trust and honesty matter — especially when someone is struggling.
At the same time, we understood why Bambi stepped away.
At some point, constantly trying to make someone else happy while losing yourself becomes unsustainable.
Also — major credit to both actresses here. The emotional performances were fantastic. Quietly devastating without feeling overplayed.
WHAT WORKED
Besties Fighting
We actually appreciated the fight between Min and Prim.
Because here’s the thing: healthy friendships still fight.
And when friendship and business collide? Things get messy fast.
What made this conflict work is that neither woman felt entirely wrong. We said it in our last review and we’ll say it again — we genuinely understood both sides.
Prim crossed boundaries.
Min also struggled to respect the space Prim was trying to establish.
That tension felt earned.
We especially loved Bambi stepping in to force a conversation instead of letting resentment keep simmering. (Girl, please recognize your worth while you’re helping everybody else.)
Most importantly, the resolution felt mature. They actually sat down and talked — a concept some television couples and friendships seem allergic to.
Strong writing. Strong performances. Real emotional payoff.
Min Meets the College Crew
This scene was unexpectedly fun.
We admittedly did not realize just how much younger Praew was meant to be than Min, so watching her navigate a rooftop full of college students added a surprisingly entertaining dynamic.
Of course, the friend group immediately starts poking at labels — because heaven forbid anyone enjoy a peaceful hangout.
Thankfully, Praew quickly stepped in and protected Min from becoming the group discussion topic of the night.
What continues to work for us is how emotionally mature Praew feels. She balances her relationship and friendships without making Min feel isolated.
And ending the scene with Min admitting she sees a future with Praew?
Oh, we know Praew was internally screaming.

Sasha… Girl. We Need You to Stand Up
Respectfully: Sasha, enough.
We are begging you.
At what point do we stop giving Mom any time of day?
Because watching Sasha’s mother continuously undermine Gorya — while completely dismissing Sasha’s happiness and opinion — is beyond frustrating at this point. And let’s be honest: we’re struggling to see genuine care here.
It increasingly feels transactional.
She shows up when money is involved, pushes her own agenda and ignores what Sasha actually wants. Girl… please wise up. At some point, boundaries are not cruelty — they are necessary.
The comment about Sasha needing to dress “more feminine”?
Absolutely not.
We were ready to square up through the screen.
That said, credit where it is due: the acting here was fantastic.
Milk especially sold Sasha’s discomfort on the red carpet. You could physically see the tension, discomfort and quiet resignation in her performance — which made the scene land even harder.
And Gorya walking away afterward because she was upset?
Completely in character.
Honestly, we appreciated that choice. Love played Gorya’s frustration beautifully, and it felt true to someone who is exhausted from watching the person they care about repeatedly get hurt.
WHAT MISSED
Emotional Pacing Became Exhausting
There is no denying this episode had a lot happening.
But emotionally? It felt heavy.
Very heavy.
While we appreciate the realism and the show’s willingness to tackle difficult themes, Episode 11 sometimes felt like emotional whiplash. Trauma, conflict, family dysfunction, heartbreak — all layered back-to-back without much breathing room.
For some viewers, that emotional intensity will absolutely work.
For us, it crossed into exhausting.
Instead of feeling like an escape, this episode occasionally felt like life saying, “Oh, you’re stressed already? Here’s more.”
Bold Take
Girl Rules knows how to make us feel something — the problem is Episode 11 gave us all the feelings at once and forgot to let us recover.
Final Verdict
Girl Rules continues to prove why strong performances matter.
The cast consistently delivers emotional depth, vulnerability and believable chemistry, even when the story occasionally stretches itself too thin. We appreciate the show’s willingness to tackle difficult themes and portray relationships in messy, imperfect ways.
That said, with one episode left, we’re ready for the series to stick the landing — because right now, it feels like the story may have overstayed its welcome just a bit.
Please don’t rush the ending. We’re rooting for you.
