Queendom EP3: Glitter Girl Truths, Sapphic Chaos & Emotional Struggles

We adore this series. Queendom continues to be one of the cutest, quirkiest, and most refreshingly sapphic Thai GLs of 2025. It’s fun, it’s colorful, and the acting keeps delivering. Even the color tones in the cinematography feel intentional—bright, stylish, and dripping with that slightly camp energy that makes it impossible to look away.
Tonight’s episode slowed things down a bit, serving much-needed backstory and juicy emotional context. And honestly? We’re glad. These quieter moments help us understand why these women are where they are—and make their chemistry hit even harder when sparks fly. And three moments in particular had us absolutely swooning. Let’s discuss.
1. Wanmai + Saifon: Mature Queens Serving Sapphic Tension
Let’s start with the mature duo who had us hooked since the trailer dropped. This episode peeled back a little more of their history—and it’s delicious.
Exhibit A: the contacts list. Saifon has a heart next to Wanmai’s name in her phone. Wanmai? She’s got a smiley face next to Saifon. Cute, subtle, and yet so telling. And the fact that both women accidentally discovered this while hunting for their phones? Pure sapphic serendipity.
The dynamic here is irresistible: Wanmai is the composed, straight-laced queen with everything ironed out on the surface, while Saifon is a bit of a hot mess who somehow still gets the job done. Together, they create this push-pull energy that’s chaotic but intoxicating. It’s not just romance—it’s sapphic workplace tension with a side of chaos, and we are here for it.
2. Glitter Girl & the Curse of Meddling Moms
Okay, so let’s talk Glitter Girl. Turns out, Print was the more talented singer, but Rey’s mom had to flex her connections. Strings were pulled, decisions were made, and suddenly Rey wins a contest she wasn’t meant to win.
Seriously, what is it with GL parents thinking they can micromanage their children’s lives for the sake of family image? (Looking directly at you, Roller Coaster.) It’s never about happiness, only reputation and luxury.
But here’s where it gets juicy: fast forward to the present, and thanks to the body-swap chaos, Print (in Rey’s body) redeems Rey’s song on a reality show stage. Because unlike Rey, Print can actually sing. That moment was a chef’s kiss blend of revenge, catharsis, and respect. We don’t know if we could’ve been that generous.
3. The Inner Struggle: Living in Each Other’s Skin
This episode really leaned into the inner conflicts of body-swapping, and we loved it. From Print’s old resentment toward Rey to Rey’s heavy guilt over stealing the Glitter Girl crown years ago, the storytelling finally gave us the weight we needed.
We’re watching two young women wrestle with not just each other’s bodies, but each other’s traumas. And that’s what makes Queendom more than just a comedy gimmick—it’s heart, layered with sapphic chemistry.
And speaking of chemistry… it’s undeniable. Rey may have had her crush from the start, but Print? Print is catching serious feels now. Add in the chaos of their managers (who deserve their own spin-off at this point), and the whole thing feels fresh, fun, and brimming with emotional payoff.
Final Thoughts
Queendom EP3 gave us balance—storytelling depth without losing the playful tone that makes this show shine. Between Wanmai and Saifon’s mature spark, the Glitter Girl redemption arc, and the messy but heartfelt struggles of Print and Rey, this episode had layers.
We adore it. We want more. And honestly, if the sapphic tension keeps climbing at this pace, we may need to issue official swoon warnings before EP4 drops.
