Queendom EP12: The Finale Gave Us a Finger-Licking Fairytale

A Magical Ride Comes to an End

Well, this magical ride is officially over — and yes, we’re a little sad about it. Queendom has been a sapphic spectacle that gave us a full-on magical carpet ride: moments of fun chaos, sweet and spicy storytelling, and comedic sparkle that made it both memorable and rewatchable.

NGL though… #MaiFon are the real MVPs. While #ReyPrint as leads were adorable and heartfelt, the authentic chemistry that Mai and Fon brought to the screen was on another level — raw, believable, and utterly enthralling. Their energy crackled through the screen and stole the show.

Still, Queendom gave us plenty of moments to scream, swoon, and occasionally tilt our heads in confusion — and we’re unpacking all of them below.

1. The Wedding Shoot — Foreshadowing in Full Bloom

If this wasn’t the biggest foreshadowing of the finale, we don’t know what was. The moment we saw them in wedding dresses, we knew the ending was heading straight down the aisle. The styling, the smiles, the slow-motion stares — it screamed, “We’re ending in vows, babes.”We’ll circle back to the actual wedding later (trust us, you’ll want to stay seated).

2. The Job — Love and Ambition Can Coexist

We have to hand it to the writers for this one. Having Rey and Print face the challenge of balancing career and love in the final episode was bold… if not a little abrupt. It takes a truly understanding and secure partner to let their loved one chase a dream, trusting that love will bring them back together.

That said, it felt slightly rushed to introduce this in the finale. The angst was a touch unnecessary — but it gave us one of the best scenes of the episode: Rey’s interview moment. When Print appeared in the stands and asked that question? Iconic. Genius. Our sapphic hearts exploded.

And the best part? The writers didn’t make Print “give up” her job or her dreams. She simply chose not to extend her contract, leaving the door open for future collaborations — but on her terms. It was a rare, refreshing example of a woman choosing both love and ambition without being trapped by either. Bravo, script team. Bravo.

3. The First Proposal — Classic Lesbian Energy

We mean this lovingly: it was very lesbian. Impulsive, heartfelt, slightly chaotic — and somehow still adorable. But the combo of “here’s a surprise house” and “will you marry me?” right before Print jets off? A little much. Once we realized it was the house she’s been designing since Episode 1, it clicked — but emotionally, it still felt rushed. Cute? Absolutely. Cohesive? Not quite.

4. The Workaholics — Power Couple Realness

This might’ve been one of our favorite moments. Seeing them back in their work zones, balancing each other’s quirks and collaborating with mutual respect? That’s relationship goals. It was funny, wholesome, and a great representation of two ambitious women loving each other for exactly who they are.

5. The Second Proposal — Twice the Sass, Twice the Sparkle

Now this was perfection.Let’s start with the obvious: these two looked incredible. Wardrobe team — golf clap. Elegant, bold, and beautifully tailored. Then the rings? Gorgeous. Unique. So fitting for their personalities.

But the real brilliance? The dueling proposals. One trying to steal the other’s thunder in the most adorable way possible. It was funny, believable, and so true to Rey and Print’s dynamic. Plus, this scene gave us one of the better kisses between them — finally!

6. The Wedding — Barbiecore Sapphic Fantasy

Okay, deep breath. The wedding theme was straight out of a Matel-inspired dreamscape. Between the pink overload, Print’s statement earrings, and the cake-to-archway ratio, we half-expected a Barbie cameo. But you know what? They pulled it off.

Every queen deserves her dream wedding, and these two had theirs in spectacular fashion. Seeing family and friends there to support them was heart-melting — and that sister glow-up? Wow. We had to rewind because we thought they swapped actors.

The only odd choice? The “hand-on-top” moment before the cake smash. It felt a little forced — clearly a setup for the cake-to-the-face gag — but forgivable because the next scene made us forget to breathe.

7. The Consummation — Sapphic Goddesses, Assemble

Oh. My. Goddess. That consummation scene? We were not ready. Finger-licking good. Literally. Artful, sensual, and surprisingly bold — food play has never looked so cinematic. Print, girl, we salute you.

It was hot, tastefully shot, and entirely fitting for their story arc. This wasn’t shock value; it was intimacy, power, and joy — wrapped in passion and well-lit camera work. We were cheering, blushing, and possibly Googling “Queendom episode 12 cold shower memes.”

Final Thoughts — Long Live the Queens

Queendom stuck the landing. Between the strong cast, gorgeous cinematography, sharp comedic beats, and genuine sapphic representation, this series deserves far more hype than it’s getting.

It managed to balance heart, humor, and heat without falling into tired tropes. Whether you rooted for the youthful sincerity of #ReyPrint or the magnetic maturity of #MaiFon, Queendom gave everyone something to love.

In a sea of GL dramas that often drag us through pain before payoff, Queendom offered a steady, satisfying ride from start to finish. And that finale? It sealed the deal with laughter, love, and a wedding night to remember.

If WeTV ever decides to reunite any of these duos — we’ll be first in line. Thank you, Queendom, for giving us sapphic storytelling done right. 👑
