Poisonous Love EP3 – Kiss, Care, and Chaos We Can’t Get Enough Of

We’re just sitting here, swooning, clutching our pillows, and feeling very single after that glorious EP. Wow. The acting was stellar, the way Pat showed up for Dr. Prem in all the right moments was phenomenal, and every tender, tension-filled scene had us kicking our feet like teenagers. This series is easily in our top three of the year so far — no contest. Let’s unpack the sapphic sweetness that was Poisonous Love EP3.

Pat pins Dr. Prem gently against the wall, leaning close as she explains why being with a woman is better — tension thick in the air.

💋 That Kiss Heard Around the Internet

Let’s start with the scene everyone’s still dishing about — that kiss. Ginny delivered a masterclass in facial expressions: shock, hesitation, then that dawning “oh no… I like this.” Jayna matched her beat for beat, channeling pure desire without crossing into excessive force. The result? Passion that felt real.

And yes, it had tongue. We immediately texted our #FreenBecky-fan friend like, “Girl, they’ve got competition.” The chemistry was that good. This was authentic, hot, and beautifully acted. Of course, the elevator bell had to ruin the moment — the ultimate sapphic buzzkill — snapping both women back to reality. Still, it’s clear neither is forgetting that kiss anytime soon.

😈 Flirty Visits, Flashbacks & The Condo Move

Because Pat’s nothing if not persistent, she heads to the Doc’s place after reveling in the experience, equal parts flirty and chaotic. She admits she liked the kiss, teasing just enough to rattle Prem’s perfectly composed exterior. And thanks to flashbacks, we now know it wasn’t coincidence that they live in the same building — Ticha (our queen of wing-women) helped Pat find out where Prem lived and made it happen. We adore her for it.

The next morning, we’re treated to the comedy gold of Prem trying to sneak out to work — earbuds in, tip-toeing down the hallway like a spy. Naturally, she runs into Pat, who plucks one earbud out, pins her to the wall, and drops the line of the episode: why dating women is better. Ma’am. We needed oxygen. The tension was thick enough to cut with a scalpel.

🍽️ Lunch Dates, Jealousy & Keeping Composure

Next up: Pat and Nam. Pat clearly isn’t thrilled to be out with her leech of a “friend,” but Thai GL writers love a little chaos, so of course, in walk Prem and Bow. Cue tension. Nam, ever delusional and deep in denial, instantly assumes Prem is trying to steal Thawat. She follows her outside, ready to start something — and Prem, to her credit, handles it with confidence. Her response is pure gold: firm, graceful, and honest, reminding us exactly why we adore her.

When Pat realizes Nam’s been gone too long, she looks around, spots Bow, and exchanges a brief, apologetic nod before heading outside — just in time to see Nam grab Prem’s arm. Pat steps in without hesitation, protecting Prem and diffusing the scene. Bow soon joins, and for a moment, all four women stand there — tension thick in the air. Neither Pat nor Prem give away their deeper connection, and while we were initially screaming for Pat to say something to prove she’s protecting Prem, the choice to stay silent feels right.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Pressure & Feminine Defiance

Back home, things get heated in a different way. Prem’s father sits her down to relay that Thawat has apologized, claimed he was drunk, and insists it was only one time — so now, of course, Dad thinks she should forgive him and move forward with the marriage. Prem, thankfully, is having none of it. She stands her ground, calm but firm, and refuses.

That doesn’t sit well with her father, who immediately accuses her of being “out of line.” He even calls for her mother to step in — and that’s when we see the difference between the two parents. Her mom supports her. Through a flashback, we see that she’s always been the more understanding one — more attuned to Prem’s emotions, more aware that her daughter has spent her life following orders rather than making choices.

It’s a powerful moment of context and backstory. We finally understand why breaking free from those expectations is not just difficult for Prem, but terrifying. It’s been a long time since she’s truly had a voice in her own life, and watching her begin to reclaim it hits hard.

🍺 Pier Confessions & Sapphic Comfort

Thank goodness for Ticha again — our queen of timing — who just happens to be in the right place at the right time. She secretly records Nam and Thawat as they run into Prem after breakfast. Prem catches them acting all cozy in public and immediately stands her ground, making it clear she wants nothing to do with Thawat and that he needs to stay away from her and her parents. He tries to play it off, shaking Nam’s clingy grip and insisting they’re “just friends,” but that façade doesn’t fool anyone. Ticha sends the footage straight to Pat. (We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Best. Friend. Of. The. Year.)

After seeing the video, Pat goes to find Prem — and what she finds hits hard. Prem is drunk, stumbling around the pier with a beer in hand, trying to hold herself together but clearly shattered. She’s angry, hurt, and exhausted from being talked about like she’s the problem.

What follows is one of the most emotionally charged, well-acted scenes in Thai GL. Prem admits she never loved Thawat — she’s just furious that her life is falling apart and that everyone’s whispering behind her back. When she breaks down and asks, “Am I worthless?” Pat’s response — a gentle, heartfelt “You’re the most valuable person” — absolutely broke us.

Jayna plays the moment with such calm tenderness that you can feel the shift instantly. This isn’t her being cheeky or trying to charm her way in — it’s genuine care. The softness in her tone, the way she steadies Prem, the patience in her touch — it’s the emotional reassurance Prem’s been craving all along.

🤒 Forehead Fever & Full-Body Softness

The next day, Prem’s home sick — hungover, dazed, and still in denial about what she’s feeling. She’s fumbling with her medicine bag when Pat suddenly appears (uninvited, but we’re not complaining). Pat casually reminds her that she’s the one who gave her the door code last night. Smooth.

When Pat notices how flushed Prem looks, she moves closer to check her temperature — and instead of reaching for a thermometer like a sane person, she leans in and presses her forehead against Prem’s. Girl… why you gotta be so close? It’s gentle, intimate, and completely disarming. You can see Prem freeze, dazed and caught off guard by how sincere Pat’s concern is.

From there, the scene shifts into something quietly profound. Pat goes full caretaker mode — getting her medicine, water, and escorting her to bed for a nap. She even brings in the supplies to wipe Prem down, starting with her arms.

And then comes the moment that says it all. While Pat isn’t looking, we finally see Prem smile at her — for the first time in the entire series. Just a small, fleeting smile, but it’s monumental. It’s trust. It’s gratitude. It’s the first step toward letting someone in.

Pat moves to wipe Prem’s face and neck, and as she slides her hand under the pajama top, she apologizes. Before she can say more, Prem quietly responds, “Just don’t look,” and covers Pat’s eyes. Pat listens. She unbuttons Prem’s pajama top and continues, wiping her down with slow, deliberate tenderness. She’s respectful — keeping the top closed, lifting it only enough to reach inside. When she asks to wipe Prem’s back, Prem allows it, and Pat gently lifts her into her arms, holding her so she can expose her back without exposing her front.

But the true artistry lies in Jayna’s movements. Every touch is soft, steady, and intentional — the brush of her fingers down Prem’s hands, the gentle cradling of Prem’s head, the way she holds her as though she’s something precious and fragile. Those gestures say everything: this isn’t seduction; it’s devotion.

The respect, care, and quiet intimacy in this scene? Immaculate. It’s sapphic storytelling at its best — not loud, not rushed, just deeply felt.

🌅 The Morning After (and a Sapphic Awakening)

Hours later, Prem wakes up, finally fever-free. She notices a light still on in the living room.

Curious, she wanders out and finds Pat asleep on the couch, phone slipped from her hand onto the floor. When Prem leans down to pick it up, Pat stirs — and as she rolls over, her lips accidentally brush Prem’s cheek. Cue us absolutely swooning.

Prem freezes, but Pat wakes, instantly concerned. She slips right back into caretaker mode, asking if Prem’s feeling better and noting that her fever didn’t break until 10 p.m. She’s still focused, still tender, and yes, still completely smitten. Then she looks up and asks softly, “Doesn’t this prove how serious I am about you?” And our hearts? Fully melted into the floor.

Prem’s reaction says it all — flustered, confused, and clearly catching feelings she can’t quite name. She retreats to the bathroom to collect herself, but the show gives us the perfect callback to an earlier line about love: when it’s real, it makes your heart race. She places a hand over her chest.

It’s racing.

Girl, you’re gone.

💭 Final Thoughts

Episode 3 had everything — heat, humor, heart, and drama. It gave us that perfect mix of angst and affection that defines great sapphic storytelling. The acting was superb, the pacing tighter than ever, and the chemistry? Off the charts.

If this is what we’re getting in Episode 3, we may not emotionally survive the finale — and honestly, we’re fine with that.
