Pls Love EP7 Review: Love, Lust and Finally, Honesty
Peem and Parn finally put their hearts on the table, their friends save the day, and #LenaMiu deliver a reconciliation worth waiting for.
OPENING REACTION
Well, well, well. Look who decided to give love a fighting chance before the finale! And what a delicious surprise it was!
If there's one thing we've come to expect from the Thai GL formula, it's Episode 7 delivering enough heartbreak and drama to leave the finale scrambling to put everyone back together. But Pls Love decided to shake things up, giving Peem and Parn the reconciliation they deserved without making us wait until the final hour. And ladies, did CH3 deliver! We got thoughtful storytelling, meaningful character development, scene-stealing besties and intimacy that brought both the heat and the heart. Frankly, we're still recovering!
Even better, the finale preview teased a pivotal moment from the novel we've been waiting to see. How the writers plan to squeeze that storyline into one remaining episode has us curious, but after this week's payoff, we're feeling optimistic. We're also already experiencing separation anxiety because #LenaMiu have absolutely devoured this series. CH3, you can't possibly expect us to return to our regularly scheduled lives after this!

THE MOMENT
The standout moment in Pls Love Episode 7 has to be Peem and Parn's reconciliation. And no, it's not simply because the intimacy was FIRE. It's because the entire sequence earned that fire, giving us the emotional payoff we were craving!
Let's start with Parn's friends, who deserve honorary degrees in relationship intervention because somebody had to save these women from themselves! Pat and Miew recognized what Parn couldn't see: Years of judgment about her upbringing, her work and her place in society had convinced her she wasn't worthy of Peem's love. She wasn't pushing Peem away because she didn't love her; she'd simply spent so long believing she wasn't good enough that she couldn't get out of her own way. Thankfully, her besties weren't about to let a lifetime of other people's opinions sabotage their girl's happiness. So, they did what any fabulous friends should do: They marched straight to Peem and spilled the tea. Hallelujah! A GL series where someone shares critical information before the finale. Somebody alert the industry!
Peem's best friend deserves his flowers, too, for reminding her that a platinum card isn't a substitute for emotional honesty. She needs to own her mistakes and use her words, while Parn's friends encourage her to simply be herself. And wouldn't you know it, Peem listens! When she spots Parn's Instagram post, she immediately arranges to have what Parn needs delivered. It's a small but meaningful gesture that shows her generosity was never the problem; it was how she used it. Now she's leading with thoughtfulness rather than trying to buy forgiveness. Look at our wealthy little red flag learning that the best gifts come with genuine care! Growth looks fabulous on you, darling!
Then Parn arrives home to find the very woman she's been desperately trying to push away waiting for her. Only this time, Peem isn't bringing that familiar possessive, red-flag energy. She's showing up with honesty, vulnerability and a determination to fight for their relationship without hiding behind her mistakes. When Peem reveals that she knows what her father said to Parn, the emotional walls begin to crumble. Parn no longer has to carry that secret alone, and Peem understands the pressure that drove them apart. The love was never the problem; it was the misunderstandings, insecurities and questionable decisions that kept getting in its way. Now, with everything out in the open, these two can stop sabotaging their own happiness and start fighting for each other. Hallelujah, ladies! We were one misunderstanding away from hiring this relationship its own crisis management team.
What makes the exchange especially moving is the physical storytelling. Lena's gentle touches and measured movements gradually draw Parn closer, communicating reassurance without overpowering the dialogue. Meanwhile, Miu beautifully captures Parn's defenses softening as hesitation gives way to acceptance. And just as they kiss, the music drops at precisely the right moment. Whoever timed that cue deserves a standing ovation because the editing and sound design elevate an already powerful reconciliation without stealing attention from the performances. Bravo, creative team! That's how you make an audience feel something without beating us over the head with it.
And then, ladies, just when we thought our hearts had recovered, #LenaMiu decided to turn the temperature from pleasantly warm to somebody-call-the-fire-department. Apparently, emotional healing comes with a complimentary heat wave!
What follows is arguably one of their strongest intimate sequences in Pls Love so far. The urgency, the grabbing, the pulling and the clothes coming undone as Peem and Parn make their way through the hallway toward the bedroom reminded us of the deliciously charged hallway intimacy in Poisonous Love. But there's an additional emotional layer here. These women have spent far too long at odds, allowing misunderstandings, unspoken truths and insecurities to come between them. Now, with everything finally out in the open, they're reconnecting with a passion that reflects just how much they've missed each other. And wow, did they have some catching up to do!
We particularly loved when Parn suddenly pushed Peem against the wall, reversing their usual dynamic with a confidence that caught us completely off guard. MA'AM, WHERE DID THAT COME FROM? Not that we're complaining! What makes this moment especially effective is how it reflects Parn's growth since their separation. Parn has grown more assertive since their separation, and watching her take the initiative signals a welcome shift in their previously uneven power dynamic. Apparently, our girl learned a thing or two about taking charge, and Peem certainly doesn't seem to mind. Neither do we, for the record!
The transition into the bedroom continues that progression, particularly with the callback to Peem asking Parn to address her the way she used to. It's a small but meaningful detail that brings their shared history into a moment of renewed intimacy without requiring another lengthy conversation. And just as we were appreciating that thoughtful bit of storytelling, Parn reverses Peem, climbs on top of her and straddles her. EXCUSE US! Someone get the fan and prepare the ice bath because apparently these women have decided our survival is optional.
Beyond the heat, however, there's some genuinely impressive choreography and acting happening here. Both women have agency, their movements feel responsive rather than mechanical, and the teasing dialogue keeps their personalities present throughout the scene. Lena's playful challenge about whether Parn can handle her adds a flirtatious confidence that makes their chemistry even more compelling. Miu's growth as an actress is especially evident here. Compared with her more reserved performance in her previous series, she now seems fully comfortable reacting in the moment, making every touch, kiss and expression of pleasure feel believable. And those facial expressions? They left very little to the imagination! She's not just acting the scene; she's making us feel it.
The thoughtful choreography, camera work and editing give the intimacy a spontaneous feel while allowing the characters' playful exchanges to deepen their connection. And when #LenaMiu can make us swoon, laugh and reach for emergency cooling equipment all at once, we'd say the creative team understood the assignment!
What we appreciated just as much was the tenderness afterward. The playful conversation and continued openness between Peem and Parn give the intimacy an emotional landing, reinforcing that these women are finally comfortable being vulnerable with one another. Instead of treating their passionate reunion as the finish line, the writers allow the quieter moments to show what reconciliation actually means for their relationship. They're not simply back together; they're communicating, teasing and enjoying each other without the weight of everything they've been keeping inside.
12/10. Yes, we're exceeding the scale. Take it up with management.
WHAT WORKED
a. The Besties Understood the Assignment
Can we please talk about the supporting characters? Because these besties weren't simply providing comic relief this week. They were practically running the relationship repair department, and frankly, someone needed to take charge!
Peem's best friend continues to be exactly who she needs: supportive enough to stand beside her but sensible enough to call her out when she's behaving like an entitled disaster. He knows Peem needs to acknowledge how badly she's treated Parn rather than assuming another expensive gesture will make everything disappear. And when he suggests she let Parn go, her reaction says it all. Suddenly, the possibility of losing Parn becomes very real. It's a clever storytelling choice because he's not simply offering advice; he's challenging Peem to confront her behavior and decide what she's willing to do about it. Tough love, darling. Sometimes that's exactly what the doctor ordered!
Meanwhile, Pat and Miew are doing the emotional heavy lifting on Parn's side, with enough comedy to keep us thoroughly entertained. Miew's reaction to the view from Peem's apartment had us HOWLING. The woman looked ready to move in, and her fascination with the luxury surroundings made it abundantly clear that the high-society lifestyle isn't exactly her usual playground. And the shoes still being on? GIRL! Apparently, the view was so fabulous that basic house etiquette went straight out the window.
We also love the contrast between these two. Pat is generally the more levelheaded and emotionally composed one, while Miew operates on approximately 97% emotion and 3% impulse control. Together, they're a hilarious combination, especially as they nudge each other before finally telling Peem what's happening with Parn. Their hesitation makes the intervention feel natural rather than like a convenient plot device.
That's what makes these supporting characters so effective. They aren't simply there to deliver information or provide a laugh; their distinct personalities and genuine concern for their friends help move the story forward. They're loyal, funny and willing to have uncomfortable conversations when it matters. Honestly, if more GL couples had besties like these, half the misunderstandings would be resolved before the commercial break!
b. But HELLO, Brother's Boss
We've been wondering whether this pivotal storyline from the novel would make its way into the adaptation, especially given how differently Peem and Parn's relationship has developed on screen. Well, look who decided to make an appearance! But what caught our attention was Parn's brother, who showed considerably more backbone in turning down the offer than his novel counterpart. Let's just say the book didn't exactly have him competing for Brother of the Year, so we commend the writers for giving him a stronger, more supportive role. Another adaptation upgrade? We're certainly not complaining!
Now we're curious how CH3 plans to use this familiar threat. Could it test how far Peem and Parn are willing to fight for each other while forcing Peem to confront the realities Parn faces without her family's wealth and influence? And yes, we're wondering whether marriage might enter the equation. Becoming part of Peem's powerful family could offer Parn greater protection and bring the class divide that's shaped their relationship full circle. It's an intriguing possibility, especially given how differently the television adaptation has developed these characters.
Our only concern? The clock is ticking! With one episode remaining, there's precious little time to resolve such a significant conflict without rushing the ending. CH3, darling, please don't spend seven episodes building this beautiful relationship only to speed-date us through the finale!
Might we suggest a 90-minute finale? We've been very good this year. Mostly.
c. An Adaptation That Keeps Raising the Bar
We've said it before, and apparently we'll keep saying it until someone in that writers' room gets a raise: CH3 has done an impressive job of improving the storytelling from the original novel. Has every creative decision been flawless? Of course not. We've had a few editing hiccups and questionable character choices along the way, but Episode 7 reminds us why we've been singing this adaptation's praises.
The writers give us the context, accountability and emotional payoff needed to make Peem and Parn's reconciliation feel earned without pretending their past behavior never happened. And let's remember, these two have waved enough red flags to decorate an entire parade route! Yet through genuine character growth and vulnerability, the series has somehow turned their complicated romance into one we're wholeheartedly rooting for. That's no small feat!
Unlike a novel, television can't rely on internal narration to explain every motivation. Episode 7 translates those emotions beautifully through dialogue, performances and character interactions, making the storytelling feel natural rather than overly explanatory.
The result is a cohesive, emotionally satisfying episode that does more than recreate the romance. It makes Peem and Parn's relationship feel more believable, and frankly, that's why this adaptation continues to win us over. Someone please get that writers' room a raise before we start a petition!
WHAT MISSED
Sure, we spotted the occasional microphone pack peeking through the actors' clothing, but are we really going to let a rogue mic steal the spotlight from such a fantastic episode? Not today, darling! The storytelling, performances and pacing delivered, so we're happily giving the creative team their flowers.
BOLD TAKE
The real heroes of Pls Love Episode 7 weren’t just the lovers finding their way back to each other. They were the friends who refused to let two stubborn women fumble their own happily-ever-after.
FINAL VERDICT
At this point, what else can we say about #LenaMiu that we haven't already shouted from the rooftops? Their chemistry is undeniable, their performances keep raising the bar, and Episode 7 proves they can deliver emotional vulnerability, playful banter and sizzling intimacy without missing a beat. Add thoughtful writing, a fabulous supporting cast and strong direction, and CH3 has given us one of the series' most satisfying episodes.
Now, about that finale. We're excited, a little nervous and hoping the writers don't rush the landing after spending seven episodes building a romance we've become hopelessly invested in. And while we're making requests, CH3, darling, can we discuss this one-series-a-year situation? Their colleague Tan has shown that more than one GL project in a year is possible, so naturally, we're wondering when these two might grace our screens again. We know quality productions take time, but with talent and chemistry like this, surely another great story deserves a spot on the calendar!
Because if Pls Love has proven anything, it's that #LenaMiu can deliver the romance, drama, comedy and emotional depth. Give these women another story, CH3. We'll bring the popcorn, the fan and, apparently, the ice bath!
