Only You EP3 Review: Green Flags, Gossip, and a Bodyguard Who Stays for More Than the Job 💚🕵️‍♀️

Let’s be real—when you pair #LingOrm with a sapphic bodyguard plot, expectations are gonna skyrocket. And while Only You is still delivering quality GL storytelling, we’re three episodes in and feeling a little…basic. Not in a bad way! But let’s just say, for a bodyguard romance, the bullets are flying more from our heartstrings than actual combat scenes.

Still, Only You EP3 brought emotional progression, sapphic softness, a splash of drama (literally), and a heavy dose of lingering stares. So let’s get into what hit, what missed, and what left us screaming “green flag behavior!” at our screens.

Yam greets Aira as she enters the dance studio and they chit-chat.

🥋 Karate Chopping a Crush (Kinda)

Listen, we all knew Tawan’s flying chop at the end of EP2 was probably not aimed at a villain. And yep—we were right. Turns out, she chopped the maid’s kid who just wanted to bring Aira snacks. (Honestly? Relatable behavior.) We howled when he refused to let her check for bruises and booked it outta there. Same, bestie. If a hot woman hit us on the sidewalk, we’d flee too—blushing.

🧴 Yam and That Hair… Something Ain’t Right (And We Love It)

Let’s talk about Yam, aka Enjoy, doing what she does best: making us suspicious in the best way possible. This character is giving “sweet with a sinister side” and we are living for it. Her chaotic energy? Her awkward arrival at the studio? That hilarious hair? Iconic. Yam is a wild card, and honestly, Enjoy plays “mysterious troublemaker” so well, we’re begging for more scenes. And possibly a plot twist.

🏍 Tawan the Paparazzi Slayer (And Acid-Dodger)

We loved watching Tawan lock eyes with a lurking paparazzo and sic her team on him. A+ security work. But then—BAM—acid attack?? Whoa. That escalated quickly. Thankfully, our girl blocks most of it with the dry cleaning (heroic), though her hand does get hit. Ling’s acting in this scene? Chef’s kiss. Aira rushing to care for her wounds? We see you, girl. You’re not fooling anyone—your feelings are showing. And Tawan? Purposefully staying at with Aira at her house? We clocked it. She’s bending the rules for her crush—and we are not mad at this sapphic chaos one bit.

🛏 Pillow Talk… Minus the Talk

Tawan didn’t have to stay the night. But she did. We audibly squealed when Aira brought Tawan meds. And Aira didn’t have to sneak in and check on her. But she did. She even curled up beside her in bed. Aira, you green-flag lesbian, you! That whole scene had us blushing and pillow-squeezing. Of course, Chanya comes in like the ultimate reality check and kicks Aira back to her own room, but not before we caught the gay vibes radiating off that mattress.

🍛 Gossip, Bribery, and Intel on Tawan

Let’s be clear: Aira’s clever. When the “Three Musketeers” wouldn’t spill the tea on Tawan, she pulled out the best sapphic strategy—bribery via gossip. Want to know how me and your boss know eachother? Tell me what food she likes.

And they folded so fast. Same, honestly.

That whole scene was top-tier fun. It gave us backstory into the team, insights into Tawan’s past, and just how thirsty everyone is for office drama. We’re not above it. We wanted the gossip too. And it paid off— Aira got the 411—including what kind of food Tawan loves. Queen behavior.

💔 “Cancel the Contract” (AKA “Please Don’t Leave Me”)

In a classic emotionally-repressed move, Aira tries to cancel the security detail—not because she doesn’t need protection, but because she cares. But instead of saying “I’m scared I’ll lose you,” she insults Tawan. So Tawan leaves. Until Aira gathers herself, gets vulnerable, and asks her to stay. And guess what? She does.

Tawan says it’s just “her job,” but we’re calling bluff. She’s staying because she wants to. Because she cares. And because those feelings are louder than her logic now. It’s happening, folks. Feelings are cracking through the Kevlar.

Final Thoughts: Give Us Action, but Don’t Skimp on the Flirting

Only You EP3 didn’t bring much action, but it did bring intimacy, emotional tension, and enough soft moments to keep us invested. Ling continues to give us a layered Tawan—tough yet tender—and Orm’s Aira is blooming into the heart-eyed romantic we love to root for. Plus, Yam’s lurking with suspicious energy.

So—did the office gossip scene have you wheezing with laughter? Were you swooning over Tawan’s soft side? Or did Aira’s green flag behavior give you heart flutters?
