Only You EP11 – Soulmates, Showdowns & Chemistry Woes

Only You, we’re trying to hang in there. We came for the sapphic milestone (prime-time GL couple, yes queens ✨), we stayed for #LingLing, and we hoped the action would keep us strapped in. But at this point…whew. This episode dragged harder than a suitcase on a gravel runway with a broken wheel. Nothing much happened, and the intimacy? Let’s just say these kisses land about as well as a Zoom call with bad Wi-Fi. We’re not asking for a full-blown #MaiFon moment (looking at you, Queendom), but can the leads at least look like they enjoy kissing each other? Please?

Let’s break down the highs, the lows, and the “ugh, really?” moments.

Tawan cries as Aira comforts her, head on her shoulder, after learning her brother’s betrayal.

Tawan’s Wound (and a Side of Realism, Please)

We kick off with Tawan dropping Aira at Dad’s doorstep—mission accomplished, her lover’s safe. But the second Aira’s inside, Tawan nearly faints from that gunshot wound. Girl, you were shot in the arm. Where’s the blood? A smudge on the sleeve isn’t fooling anyone. A little realism could’ve sold the scene; instead, it played like cosplay first aid.

Aira’s Guilt Trip & Nana’s Wisdom

While Tawan’s knocked out (shout-out to the doc and his good drugs), Aira’s a mess—relieved she’s okay, but guilty she isn’t by her side. Cue Nana, swooping in with the kind of advice we’d embroider on a pillow: take care of yourself before you take care of others. She even sends Aira some snaps of Tawan sleeping like a baby to ease the worry. And then—plot twist—he actually tells Aira to get dressed so he can take her to see her girl. Progress, people!

Breakfast in Bed…But Where’s the Heat?

When Aira shows up to play doting girlfriend, the vibes are almost there. Cute food exchanges, Tawan clearly craving more than congee, and yet—those kisses again. Flat. Lifeless. Like watching people clink glasses without drinking. We wanted to swoon, but instead we sighed.

Comedy Trio Saves the Day

Thank the GL gods for Typhoon, Nana, and Chayna. Their meddling antics outside Tawan’s room were actual comic relief. Chayna knocking heads together? Iconic. More of this energy, please.

Mek’s Redemption Arc (Or Is It?)

Meanwhile, Mek’s out here getting his “I’m proud of you” moment from Dad after sealing the big project. Cute family redemption scene…until we find out he bribed his way there with a shady 1M baht payoff. Oops. Karma’s clearly circling.

Rage, Guns, and Aira’s Control

When the bribery trail catches up, Tawan’s in full Terminator mode—gun belt strapped, fury blazing. She takes out her anger on Typhoon (poor boy’s split lip says it all), but the second Aira steps in? She cools down. Say it with us: soulmates. Even the crew admits they’re perfect opposites who balance each other. We’ll give the show that.

Tears, Vents & More Flat Kisses

We close with Aira soothing Tawan’s storm. Emotional exchanges, raw venting, and—yet again—kisses that don’t kiss. Also, can someone get Orm an electrolyte drink? The amount of crying this girl has done could refill a pool.

Final Thoughts

Only You EP11 gives us flickers of brilliance—Nana’s wisdom, the comic relief trio, the soulmate energy of #TawanAira. But the lack of consistent action, the underwhelming intimacy, and the rinse-and-repeat drama are dragging this sapphic milestone down. We love the history this series represents, and LingLing + Orm are talented, no question. But stacked against today’s Thai GL boom, this one isn’t giving us the thrill ride we signed up for.

Verdict: High on tears, low on action, and the chemistry’s still stuck in neutral. We’re rooting for you, but Only You—step it up.
