The mystery deepens, the chemistry is chemistry-ing, and yes…we officially have thoughts about Peem. Also, we knew it was the Dad.
P’ Le and Rann continue to keep us invested, even if this episode did not fully deliver the emotional payoff we were craving. Still, between the tension, jealousy, and growing theories, Love Beyond Dreams knows exactly how to keep us coming back.
Opening Reaction
Look, we’re not saying we were bored this episode — but we are saying this felt a bit like a bridge episode.
After the powder keg of tension in the first two episodes, we expected a little more emotional combustion here. Some moments felt predictable, and while important pieces of the story moved forward, the payoff did not always match the buildup.
That said? We are still very much seated.
Part of what makes Thai GL so fun is the community aspect — the theorizing, the edits, the scene breakdowns, the “wait…did you catch that?” moments online. Love Beyond Dreams still has us playing detective, theorizing every scene and questioning everyone’s motives — and honestly, that’s when you know a Thai GL has its hooks in people.
THE MOMENT
Let’s Talk About That Kiss
No surprise here — we got the kiss we suspected was coming after comparing trailer vs. preview outfits like the little Sherlock Holmes fandom detectives we are.
Now let’s get this out of the way first: we wanted more heat.
Not because the kiss was bad — it absolutely was not — but because the emotional setup from previous episodes had us expecting more push-and-pull before the payoff. We were hoping for one more explosive argument. One more emotionally charged moment before P’ Le finally snapped and kissed Rann to shut her up. (Tell us that wouldn’t have hit.)
Instead, this kiss leaned more into shock and emotional release than longing, lust, or unresolved tension.
But here’s the thing: it actually works for P’ Le and Rann’s story.
This wasn’t just romance. This was confirmation.
For Rann, the kiss answered the question she has been emotionally spiraling around: Does P’ Le still care? Is this real?
But the bigger realization? We are not entirely convinced P’ Le understood just how deeply Rann felt either.
Think about it. Back in school, P’ Le was the one doing most of the flirting while Rann played naïve. Yes, Rann kissed her — but P’ Le never really got to sit in what that kiss meant because P’ Le immediately pushed Rann away, never getting to fully explore what that moment actually meant emotionally.
Which suddenly makes that emotionally loaded moment hit differently — when P’ Le cuts Rann off before she can say the “L” word. Because what if P’ Le knows she will not be able to hold the line if Rann says it out loud? Especially if getting close to her puts Rann directly in harm’s way.
And honestly? Mie’s facial expressions sold that entire internal battle. She had to communicate fear, restraint, longing, guilt, and heartbreak — often without saying much at all. Top-tier work there.
Rann’s reaction during the kiss also sold the emotional weight of the moment. The initial shock. The slow melt into it. The hesitation before finally letting herself believe what was happening while P’ Le fully committed — wrapping both arms around her waist like this woman has been fighting herself for weeks. (Also…Aya must be tiny because Mie basically had her whole waist in a grip. Respectfully. Damn.)
Then came the moment that really got us: P’ Le pulling away.
Rann lingers.
Her lips stay there just a second too long, like she finally got the answer she needed — only to suddenly have ten more questions.
And then P’ Le walks away.
Cue emotional damage.
That final shot of Rann crying? Oof. Because now she knows P’ Le feels something — she just still does not understand why P’ Le keeps pushing her away.
Beautifully acted. Emotionally messy. We hate that we love suffering this much.

WHAT WORKED
a. The Details (AKA: Rann’s Feet Somehow Became a Love Language)
We know. This sounds ridiculous.
But hear us out — this series is excellent at details.
One of the first things we saw in EP1 was Rann messing with her feet while P’ Le quietly noticed. Fast forward, and now we learn Rann hates heels because they hurt — but still wears them because she wants to look good beside P’ Le.
Girl. The yearning.
Then P’ Le sends heel pads through the housekeeper because she is still pretending she does not care while caring aggressively from a distance. Cute.
But buying an entirely new car because the step-in height works better for someone who refuses to stop wearing painful heels?
P’ Le. Baby.
You are down catastrophically bad.
And we love that the series tied it back to Rann’s vision board memory. Tiny details like this are what make the emotional beats land harder.
b. That Blue Dress
We would also like to formally pause this review to acknowledge Mie in that blue dress during the flashback scene because…respectfully, wow.
When P’ Le smiled at Rann? Stunning. The dress? Immaculate. That slit? Ma’am.
Let’s just say the sapphics in the audience deserved a warning.
But beyond looking expensive (because she absolutely did), the scene also worked because of what it revealed about P’ Le and Rann’s chemistry. The quiet care. The flirting. The way P’ Le looked after Rann so naturally, like loving her was already second nature.
The flirt game was strong. The girlfriend energy? Elite.
A+ quality partner material. No notes.

c. The Office Staff = The MVP Side Characters
The office crew continues to provide exactly the right amount of comic relief.
Between the blunt coworker, the office clown, and the “book smart but somehow missing every social cue” energy, they give the story breathing room between tension and mystery.
Not every side cast needs to dominate screen time. Sometimes you just need people who make us laugh and quietly stir the pot.
Mission accomplished.
d. Jealousy Looks Good on Everyone
Ah yes. Enter Dean.
Or as we’ll very snarkily call him for now: Dean the Snake.
Sure, the man dresses well, but this guy already feels shady — and his motives feel just a little too obvious for us to trust whatever polished exterior he’s selling.
That said? We appreciate his narrative purpose.
Because the jealousy between P’ Le and Rann?
Delicious.
Watching Rann spiral during Dean’s interaction with P’ Le was fun, but honestly, P’ Le getting jealous caught us off guard in the best way.
The way she immediately stepped in and blocked the interaction? Fierce.
Meanwhile, Rann, sweetie…your poker face is nonexistent. You work in a ruthless corporate environment. Pull yourself together.
Except she can’t — because when it comes to P’ Le, all logic exits the building.
Relatable, honestly.
e. Walking the Line of Truth
The scene with P’ Le’s father checking in with Rann was exactly the kind of tension we expected.
And Rann handled herself surprisingly well.
Her answers felt strategic — almost PR-trained. She technically answered the questions while revealing almost nothing. Enough to avoid suspicion, but not enough to fully show her hand.
That balancing act was interesting to watch.
But girl…you are dealing with a shark.
Proceed carefully.
WHAT MISSED (Or What We’re Watching Closely)
To be clear — we’re still enjoying this series a lot. These are not misses. More like moments where we quietly said, “Hmm…okay, we’re watching you.”
a. The Dad
We knew it.
It’s the Dad.
Thai GL rarely does subtle parental opposition, and this man is radiating “corporate villain with long-term manipulation plans.”
That office conversation screamed bigger agenda.
We have a strong feeling this is not just about business — this feels like strategic matchmaking with Dean to advance corporate interests.
And while P’ Le seems to be quietly resisting, it also feels like she is playing nice while figuring out exactly how dangerous her father is willing to become.
Because this man?
Spies everywhere. Manipulation everywhere. Bad vibes everywhere.
Let’s just say the hairs on the back of our neck are standing up.
b. Peem: Double Agent Theory Activated
Hear us out.
We think Peem is playing both sides.
Yes, he appears to report back to P’ Le’s father. But what if he is doing it to stay informed on what P’ Le’s Dad is digging for — quietly keeping P’ Le one step ahead?
Something feels off here — in a good way.
His loyalty feels deeper than surface-level employment, especially given how long he has lived in the house and how oddly protective P’ Le gets whenever Rann questions him.
Our current theory? Life debt.
And honestly, Peem conveniently helping push Rann and P’ Le together feels far too intentional to ignore. It almost feels like he wants P’ Le to get what she truly wants — or maybe even become the happier version of herself he remembers from before.
Even the gun moment teased in the preview? We are not fully buying it. It feels like a misdirect.
We would not be shocked if Peem is actually protecting them, and if Rann steps in front of P’ Le exactly like we saw teased in the trailer, only for the reveal to be that Peem is aiming at a threat behind them.
Yes, we are theorizing hard.
No, we will not apologize.
Bold Take
Love Beyond Dreams knows how to build emotional tension — now we just need it to trust the payoff enough to let it explode.
Final Verdict
While EP3 did not fully hit the emotional crescendo we were hoping for, it still gave us exactly what keeps us invested: chemistry, mystery, jealousy, and approximately 47 new theories.
But now we need to know — are you buying our “Peem Double Agent Theory”, or are we officially spiraling? And what are your thoughts on P’ Le’s Dad…because respectfully, we already do not trust that man.
