The hype around Harmony Secret has cooled a little, but don’t mistake that for boredom—we’re still strapped in. The thrill-ride “edge of your seat” moments are fewer, but EP4 delivered plenty of sass, chaos, and emotional groundwork. Mae finally realizes she’s been playing checkers while Ai is over here playing full-on chess, Yam waltzes in to steal scenes, and we got both laughs and swoons in equal measure.
Let’s dive in.

Post-Pool: Rookie Spy 101
They’ve made out, declared themselves girlfriends, and now Ai is ready for the next step. Mae? Not so much—her business hat is glued on tight. She sends Ai to the shower so she can plant that bug. Cute plan, but let’s be real: if that locket hit water, the device would be toast. And don’t even get us started on the “obvious spot on the planet” where she hid it. Girl, did G not coach you? Rookie mistakes aside, her hesitation shows the heart vs. duty conflict we’ve been waiting for.
Anthea Bar: Yam Brings the Party
Meanwhile, G is nursing her water like the stoic queen she is. Enter Yam—the bubbly Orianna assistant who’s clearly here to stir up sapphic chaos. Shots? Check. Logic that she and G should be friends? Check. A face-grab that almost ends in a kiss? Double check. G shuts it down, of course, but when she drops her keycard we were waiting to see if Yam would flip it for an Orianna power move.
G’s Apartment: Meet-Cute, Chaos Edition
Is G jealous? Overprotective? Crushing? Hard to say, but she’s rattled. A call from Yam snaps her out of it—she’s on her way to return the keycard. Honest move, or groundwork for a strategic play later? Either way, G, still haunted by the mental replay of Mae kissing Ai, pops a sleeping pill… and promptly passes out on Yam’s chest. LOL. That’s a sapphic meet-cute we didn’t know we needed. Yam, ever the chaotic angel, shrugs and lets her stay there, both of them on the hallway floor. Pure sapphic comedy gold.
Mae Using the Listening Device
Mae… you are killing us! You could never be a secret agent. You let your emotions run the show—thinking Ai was cheating just because you heard workout noises? Rookie mistake. At least the bug finally pays off when she overhears Ai talking with the owner of Andromeda.
But here’s where we just threw our hands up. Mae, why on earth would you think it’s a good idea to approach the same company Ai just called? [a] From the conversation, it’s clear Ai already has both a personal and professional relationship with her—the trust and loyalty are there. [b] By going after the same brand, you’re basically announcing, “Hi, I planted a listening device.” Girl, no! Why not pick another company, or leverage someone else entirely?
Mae, you’ve got to get smarter. Right now, Ai is moving strategically with existing relationships, while you’re flailing with emotional knee-jerk moves. Chess vs. checkers, and we know who’s winning.
Budding Romance: Yam x G (Slow Burn, Heavy Swoon)
We see you, G. One scroll through Yam’s socials, one comment later, and suddenly it’s banter o’clock. Yam’s persistence is giving us life, and G’s icy armor is showing cracks. These two are serving up delicious slow-burn potential.
The Sit-Down with Andromeda
Mae. Mae. Mae. We told you—Ai is out here playing chess while you’re still at the checkers table. Why on earth would you even think meeting with Andromeda was a good idea? That move alone showed you weren’t thinking strategically.
And this is where the real power shift happened. Props to Andromeda for loyalty—bringing their lead BA to the sit-down was a flex. It signaled exactly where their trust lies when Ai walks in, cool and confident, sliding right into the conversation like she owns the place. Meanwhile, Mae? Completely caught off guard. She hadn’t even considered this possibility, let alone prepared a counter-play. The result: she bows out the second Ai sits down. Ouch.
But here’s the moment that saved it from being a total loss: when Anne (the head of Andromeda) talks down to Mae, Ai doesn’t let it slide. She defends her. And that single act spoke louder than anything Mae managed in that room. At the very least, it shows Ai respects her—but honestly? It hints there’s something deeper at play.
The Hallway Fight & Meeting with Rachen
Mae lashes out at Ai after the Andromeda meeting, but let’s be honest—she was in the wrong. She hadn’t thought strategically, she was outsmarted, and instead of owning it, she let her emotions take the wheel. Setting boundaries is usually a win (yay communication!), but in this case, it came from a place of frustration, not foresight.
Then comes the risky play: Mae agrees to meet with Rachen—the snake everyone has warned her about. On the surface, it looks reckless, even naïve. But during this conversation, she drops the line about needing to “learn to play angles.” That’s the first time we hear her articulate that thought, and it makes us wonder—did something click for her in real time?
Is she actually trying to shift into a more strategic mindset, using this meeting to throw Ai off guard and possibly dig up intel? Or is she still too green, playing right into Rachen’s hands? Either way, it’s a dangerous gamble. The risk is huge, but the payoff could be game-changing… if she can manage not to get burned. One thing’s for sure: girl, never trust Rachen.
Date Night Delight
Ai redeems herself with a grounded move: flowers, a note, and a car borrowed from her assistant. Cute, genuine, and refreshingly down to earth—it’s exactly the kind of gesture that feels thoughtful rather than flashy.
Mae, however, doesn’t let the romance sweep her away without drawing a line. She makes it clear she doesn’t want to feel like she can’t do things on her own. And we love this. Boundaries are important, and this moment showed us Mae is determined to balance her independence with her budding feelings for Ai.
From there, the date is pure sapphic delight. Warm, fun, and honest—at times it felt less like Ai and Mae on-screen and more like #LMSY being their goofy, genuine selves. Running through the street, laughing together, and soaking in the moment—it had all the feels.
The alleyway mom-talk gave us exactly what we’ve been waiting for: vulnerability. Both of them opening up about family, about what shaped them, created a softness we hadn’t fully seen before. And then the rooftop scene? That’s where it hit. More truth-telling, more emotional intimacy, more glimpses of who they are beneath all the games and business.
To top it off, Mae lets Ai hold her hand, then rests her head on Ai’s shoulder. A small, quiet gesture, but one that spoke volumes. It was the perfect exhale after all the plotting and chaos—intimate, tender, and the definition of sapphic serotonin. We squealed. We swooned. Absolute chef’s kiss.
The Photo Bombshell
Of course, drama finds them. Ai receives a photo of Mae with Rachen. Strategic move or naïve blunder? Either way, the fallout is coming. And we can’t wait.
Final Thoughts
Harmony Secret EP4 may have slowed the pace, but it gave us rookie spy fails, budding romances, and rooftop feels that deepen the story. The actors continue to crush it, and while Mae’s strategic skills make us scream at the screen, the chaos is addictive.
Your turn—did Yam steal the spotlight for you too? Is Mae being naïve, or do you think she has a bigger plan? Sound off in the comments—we live for the chaos.
