I’m Your Moon – Full Series Review: Stellar Cast, Weak Story

Superstars of the Show:

• Tian & Milin – Absolute standouts! 💫 Their chemistry was playful, believable, and captivating. A spin-off featuring these two? Yes, please! They carried the series.

• Fierce – True to her name! 🔥 Bold, stylish, and magnetic on screen. This actress brought passion and presence to every scene. More roles for her, please!

What Worked:

• The Cast – Talented across the board! 👏 The behind-the-scenes footage highlights just how much effort each actress put in.

• Sprite – Took on physically demanding water scenes (without a double!) and long shoot days. Her dedication shone through. 💪

• Piano – The youngest Thai GL actress? Impressive! 🌟 She brought emotional depth, especially in romantic scenes. Arguably more believable than Sprite in the love story arc. A rising star to watch!

What Didn’t Work:

• The Writing – Major letdown. 📝 Plot lacked logic, motivations were inconsistent, and too many unanswered questions:

• Why did the leads look like each other's grandmothers?

• What was with the grandfather’s inconsistent reaction to the curse?

• Why the double standard? Earl actually slept with Pray while she was drunk and faced no serious backlash. Meanwhile, Fierce had the intent to get Pray drunk to sleep with her but was vilified for it. The inconsistency in how these actions were treated felt jarring and unfair. 🤔

• Who is Pray, really? Is she a student? Why doesn’t she work like her sister? And why is she seemingly confined to the palace with no real explanation?

• Where was the payoff moment — a proposal or wedding? We saw the dresses in the music video... why not bring that into the actual story? 👗

• The Direction – Failed to connect the emotional dots. 🎬

• Love scenes lacked intimacy and authenticity.

• The underwater kiss? Awkward and unconvincing. 😬

• No kiss after a 3-month separation? Come on! That’s storytelling 101.

Final Thoughts

A talented cast wasted on a poorly written and unevenly directed series. Watch only if you’re starved for content. You’ll find a few laughs, some emotion, and attractive visuals — but don’t expect much more. 🤷‍♀️
