Queendom Eps 1–2 – Body Swap Fun, Fiery Chemistry & A Cliffhanger That Hurt

Excuse us, director—who told you to end EP2 like that? The sexual tension, the raw hotness… OMG. We are so seated.

But let’s back up. We’ve been hyped for Queendom since the first teaser dropped—it promised something fresh and fun: two rivals who swap bodies, have to survive in each other’s worlds, and (of course) end up falling in love. Add a side duo with an exes-to-rivals-to-maybe-lovers arc and… oh, a girl can dream. This setup has the makings of a five-star series, and now that it’s here, we’re ready to ride.

Here are the Top 5 Moments from the premiere episodes that had us screaming, swooning, or both:

1. Quality Acting - Let’s start with the obvious: these two leads are phenomenal. Playing each other post–body swap isn’t easy—you’re not just mimicking mannerisms, you’re embodying an entire personality. Rey is cool, strategic, and emotionally guarded. Print is fun-loving, spontaneous, and warm. Watching the actresses slip into each other’s skins with such precision? Chef’s kiss.

2. The Family Element - Family shapes you, and these first episodes give us the emotional receipts. Rey’s calculated, emotionless exterior makes sense once we meet her parents. Print, on the other hand, is the financial rock for her family—flexible, resilient, and willing to roll with the punches. These backgrounds ground the fantasy in relatable stakes.

3. The Realism - For a body-swap rom-com, Queendom sprinkles in small, everyday moments that make the premise feel real. Whether it’s that awkward bathroom exchange, shopping for the cars “Rey” (actually Print) sold, or acting lessons to cover for her swapped identity—these touches make the story fun and believable.

4. The Zingers - We love a sharp one-liner, and these episodes delivered. Print seeing her body IRL? Gold. The golf course chat about performing to keep it classy to avoid cussing someone out? Delicious humor. Whether teasing, flirty, or flat-out snarky, these lines give the show its sparkle.

5. The Chemistry - We’ve seen Thai GLs where the leads just don’t click. This is not one of those series. From the infamous EP1 “trip and fall” in front of a crowd to Rey saving Print from drowning and almost going in for mouth-to-mouth—the tension is real. But EP2’s ending? WeTV, how dare you. Fingers grazing lips, the kind of eye contact that stops time, and we’re holding our pillows waiting for that kiss… only to smash-cut to credits. Cruel. Effective. We’re invested.

Bonus Round: The ManagersYes, we’re rooting for them too. That hospital scene where “Rey” (really Print) drops the body-swap bomb and slyly hints that Saifon still has unresolved feelings? Gold. They might not have the heat of our main duo yet, but we see the potential for chaos and we’re here for it.

We’re not ready to call Queendom a slam dunk just yet—only time will tell—but the mix of comedy, tension, and originality has us eager for more. It’s unique, it’s fun, and it’s a genre-blend we’re thrilled to have in the current lineup.
